Giovanni Anania PhD Scholarships in Italy

The Manlio Rossi-Doria Centre for Economic and Social Research is currently receiving applications from internationals and Italians to grant PhD scholarships

The scholarship which is in memory of Giovanni Anania is worth up to €5,000. and will partially cover to an extent, some of the expenses of a tuition-free stay at the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics of the University of California at Davis (United States).  All recipients of this award will be privileged to have access to attend educational activities and seminars offered by the Department.  you are required to stay not less than 4 months at UC Davis, which is preferably in Fall term 2018/2019 and, in any case, not later than Spring 2019.

The Scholarship Value

Eligibility Criteria for the Scholarship

To be eligible to apply for the Scholarship, prospective applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • The Scholarship is aimed at a Ph.D. student or young scholar having obtained the PhD degree within the last three academic years.
  • you must be up to 35 years of age are eligible to apply
  • If you wish to apply, then you must be carrying out your research activities at an Italian University on research themes related to the field of agro-food economy. In addition, you must be with either  an Italian or foreign qualification,

In other to participate successfully in the Scholarship program, applicants should follow the procedures stated below

All applications must be submitted via mail to centro.rossidoria@uniroma3.it . The following should also be submitted  with application

  • copy of an identity document;
  • Your Resume
  • certificate of enrolment in a Ph.D. Degree or certificate of Ph.D. Degree;
  • your research project;
  • A letter of recommendation of the Ph.D. supervisor and/or of a professor belonging to an Italian University.
